If your gonna play the game , you might as well go BIG & ALL OUT !

"I wanna be a professional baseball player", a quote from when i was a little kid...I still to this day wanna be a part of a professional team but i guess i have to keep on dreaming..but anyway enough about me, lets get to the reality of pro athletes!

Today athletes have two sets of their style in living their lives. Its called "Game" & "Fame" , the two key concepts to get and have in order to make it in the business of sports. Without the game there will be no fame, but with the fame but no game its less chance of a person making a career long lasting in this business. The way to make the athletes make themselves known in the sports industry is being good at whatever they do sport wise. It is very often that you see a baseball player who plays but not often as a set starting, making it onto TV for commercials, or any kind of fame.

When people see athletes with sports cars and awesome expensive houses, it draws audiences/ fans into watching that certain player, which then can lead to the fans watching the team he or she plays for. So when a lot of the negative people that judge the athletes and their fame and glory while getting on the player about how crazy it is about the amount of money he gets paid or the "ridiculous" items they own. It is all out of pure jealous and wishing they were in the athletes shoes. In my opinion I feel that whatever fame and amount of money a player gets, it is what he "earns", so I feel it is in all fairness of the sport to give what is earned.
In no way, shape or form to I feel the fame and all the events that happen in an athletes life should be judged unless and i mean UNLESS it is something that is done to harm someone, or affect others lives besides the athletes own.

=

So again don't forget, before you start judging put yourself in the athletes shoes then decide whats next. Also, if you are thinking of becoming a professional athlete, just know that before all the fame, comes hard work and good game in your sport, which then comes the earnings/rewards for hard work well done!!

Everyone wants to be famous these days !! SMH ....

If you've ever gone on you tube before, the people on the videos you watch could in fact be the future star artists of the entertainment business. If you haven't been on you tube i strongly suggest you check it out one time and you'd be shocked at the amount of talent displayed.

Artists in today's world of entertainment get their careers started by simply putting out ( advertising ) their talents on you tube videos. The theory is the more videos you put up to show how good you are; ( some people "think" they are good when there NOT) the better chance more people will watch and observe you. Prime example, even though i hate to use him as an example is "THE ONE THE ONLY Justin Bieber" AHHHHHHHHH <--- the crowd going wild/ all the little girls screaming for what is thought by them their "future Bf" ????

Justin's singing life started off as normal early childhood and into his early teen years, in which he put up videos of himself when he was bored and wanted something to do so he would sing and perform.. He then became more popular as the months went by coming up with new music twists to make it his own. This is still way before usher discovered Justin. Then after all his time in front of his own video camera looking to get feedback from any " followers " or people that liked him as a singer, years later along came Usher ( Who was already a famous popular artist)

After being discovered, Justin then went on to becoming in such short time, an icon to teenagers wanting to become a "teen pop star". He has the girls screaming his name, wearing clothes with his face on them, boys changing their looks to look like Justin. Now there is even a look called the "Justin Look" .. I mean come on really people??? That's like saying old people wanna have a look called the "Hillary Look" its just not normal in today society! Don't get me wrong I talk a lot of negativity towards Justin Bieber, but hey he has every teenagers dream who wants to become famous and be a celebrity. Justin's dream just came a little bit sooner then I'm sure he even expected. But it all started with him simply being a normal teenager being in his room or somewhere bored and wanting to let his talent / voice be heard....

Reality T.V ; Jersey Shore ; "O-M-G" !!!! :OOOOOO

Hey !!!!! I wanna be like that guy/ girl on that reality show( getting f*@% up, getting all these drunk girls, getting into a ton trouble) <--- this is something said by probably thousands of teenagers all across the world..haha... Who ever said people couldn't get poplar and well known world wide just by being on TV!?! Well in today's word its possible. People on the TV reality shows most of the time are being shown as wold and crazy having the time of their lives. Between the drinking, fighting, sex, and other exciting traits of today's society, the shows are practically telling the teenagers "viewers" , that all of this is how to live your life. GO BIG OR GO HOME is how I'd put it lol. On top of having the "life" If you are on a reality show, but almost all of the actors become well known and become official celebrities. Now what teenager in this generation would NOT wanna be able to get crazy on live TV, do whatever they want, AND in the end become famous??. I know I wouldn't want to have a life like that ....(I'm one of very few teenagers that feel same way)

Jersey Shore is a prime example of how one day you wake up just a regular person in this world going day to day to get by, and then just after a few episodes of the show and your a celebrity! The show Jersey Shore has so many people hooked on to it, that its even spread to facebook with people posting tons and tons of status about Jersey Shore blah blah blah.... It annoys the crap out of me, EVERY THURSDAY day through night my news feed is nothing but the posts about Jersey Shore. (Ive seen it all) Well no i take that back, the show is still running so I bet theres more new post to come... "Omg jersey shore comes on tonight ! forget my homework" , " YESSSSS!! "JS" is on tonight !" , "I love jersey shore, someone come watch it with me" , " Jersey shore cast be mine?!?" etc.. Okay so I think you get my point . Most people in this world that watch the show so much, they know all of the actors names, all the information about them; and wanna meet them. I can honestly say that people these days will do "anything" to get on a reality t.v show because it is in style with the generation created.. Give in time, and you will start to see a change in the world and of your t.v to where shows like Jersey shore and others will have taken over your t.v  FOREVER !!!

Newspapers?? No thank you, I have the internet !

Newspapers are nothing to me. When I look at them it makes me think of old people sitting on their couch and even their porch drinking their coffee reading a newspaper while glancing up to see what little kids they can catch on their yard to yell at. " Hey you kids get off my yard, ya hear!!!!!"  Newspapers just aren't popular anymore and most of it has to do with my generation(the kids on the old people's yard) , and the technology created to make internet have everything you want.

The internet saves time and money compared to going out to buy a newspaper; in which I already know the price of it is increases as we speak. Using the internet also gives me the opportunity to gain and find so much more information then what I would typically find in a newspaper. There is no sense of "attention" grabbing by newspapers like the internet has, also newspapers are black & white, dull, boring to look at, no videos, its just a piece of paper with lots of printed words on it. Now ill give it the face that newspapers do have pictures in it, BUT that still doesn't make me wanna buy them.

If kids in my generation stopped using their phones, computers, and laptops to find information on the internet, and started using newspapers, I can guarantee that almost 100 % of them will be done with newspapers within a day... and some it will only take a FEW HOURS. This is how much of an affect internet has on the people these days. The world has gotten so "technically" established that newspapers have no way of competing with the technology and internet created/ made by/ for this generation."The world we live in today is and will always be the future"

Advertising has a big affect on people..

When standing in line of the giant grocery store with my mom, helping her with some last minute shopping for food, I see different types of pictures/ images on the cover of magazines. Certain ones that draw my attention are the appearance of women celebrates and what shape their bodies are in. Ones that don't get my attention right away are the ones related to government/ political issues and people of that nature. The reason why only certain things appeal to me as well as others is based on certain fades/ habits that an individual is interested in. One way though to change this theory among people's magazine "looking" , could be to have you and others broaden their perspectives in different topics and types of advertising. Images can be used in magazines to display false information and also another big issue of images is bias information/ knowledge. When people look at magazines it is often a perspective to them that they want to look/ be/ or have whatever the celebrates are shown as. This can highly affect someones emotions in both a positive and negative way. It is always helpful that when looking or reading a magazine that you keep a self- respect among you so that way it can cause a prevention of emotional and mind thinking matter. This goes hand in hand with what is really reality compared to gossip. Iinvolved in seeing/reading the information presented to someone, emotions and opinions start to be processed in the mind and how people can begin to judge certain information they gained by a magazine. But back to a personal note about me involving magazines, I do not buy magazines because I look at what I am first drawn to and then once I am done I move on and forget about the items I retained in the magazine. (Why spend money on something I'll only use once) ??
